This event is SO much fun to be a part of and we need your help! (Click here to learn more)

Gift Wrap for Teachers and Staff

One of the traditions at OPE is for parents and students, to give teachers and staff, a "Gift Wrap Treat" during the holiday season.  It is very popular and gives them one less thing to shop for during this busy time of year. They LOVE it!!  We like to fill the teachers' lunchroom with everything they will need - gift wrap, ribbons, tags and bags.  Please help us create this special event! You can bring in items throughout the year and drop them off at the front desk to be kept until they are needed by the PTO.  After the holidays is a great time to pick up items at discounted prices but items can be purchased and brought in anytime!

Requirements to Volunteer

Requirements to Volunteer:  You must be an approved volunteer within the St. Johns County system

to come into Ocean Palms Elementary or any St. John's County school. This includes any of the following:

- Lunch with your child
- Field Trips
- Helping teachers with a class celebration
- Volunteering in the classroom or any school event

Fill Out Your Volunteer School Access Form!

In a continuing effort to provide safety and security to our students and staff we ask that you complete a

School Access Form if you plan to enter a facility in the St. Johns County School District.

Any person passing beyond the front office area must show a valid driver’s license or state identification card.

It is recommended individuals include their middle name when completing the online

application; and, if no middle name, then please use the acronym “NMN”.

Why do I need to submit this form?

The county requires that you submit your name for an official background check conducted

by the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office and the National Sexual Offenders Database.
Did I already do this?

Your background check is good for 3 years.

If you have done this for another St. Johns County school within the last 3 years, you do NOT need to resubmit.
Please email Kerry Fodor with any questions regarding your School Access Form
